I Am Different Day!

I Am Different. Go ahead, say it. Because you are. Today in English, we read MLK Jr.'s speech, and talked about segregation. Then, a friend and I had an idea. An experiment.

We decided to dye ourselves. As in we are going to dye our hair and face different neon colors. We will be colored. I will be neon orange, she will be hot pink and blue. We are going to see if people, (teachers, friends,) treat us differently. They probably will.
"IM and (colleague)! Who the heck do you think you are?" is what I expect.

I will post our results tomorrow! And if you would like to make a point about racism, join us! Dye yourself, On I Am Different day!

How cool! You have to let us know what happens. By the way, how do you intend to dye yourself? Will you choose your clothing to match--or clash--with your new color?

Also, how did the mohawk go?

dude it's so easy, I do it on Fireworks or at least on a really old version so it takes forever, but it's really fun--you can do it in mircrosoft thou I think or under pwer point. Just alot of fading images and placement, plus you get to mess around with jazzy fonts and stuff, I am DIEING to get my hands on one of Adobes new Designer Premium CS3's SOOOOOO awesome. I am such a dork, sorry :/

Mandarin takes forever thou, but I figure it's much more useful, whats the percentages on Mandarin speakers globally compared to Spanish? My Friend just adopted a little girl from China Eliza-Grace sweetest little girl you will ever see, and let me tell you my friend is passionate about Mandarin and the numbers that support it's usefulness, she will go on and on about how impractical putting Italian in public schools while Chinese and Japanese are neglected. Sorry ranting :/
