The Hottest New Thing in Restaurants

How's it going? Recently I have come by a slightly interesting blog ( http://www.libbyhobday.com ). The blog is by Libby Hobday, a woman who travels all ver to try different things that are (I'm pretty sure) food-related. Most of the posts are about things that aren't too interesting. But one of the posts really caught my eye...

You need reservations 3 weeks in advance. It's the hottest new thing in Taipei. They serve chocolate soft serve in an interesting way. What am I taking about?

TAIWAN'S MODERN TOILET RESTAURANT

Yep. That's right. Marton (an word that sounds like "toilet" in Chinese) is the name of a restaurant that has an atmosphere based around, well, the bathroom.

In the Toilet Restaurant, notice the tables (bathtubs with a sheet of glass over them,) seats (toilets with creative lids,) and the dishes that all of the courses are served in.

And the clever way to serve the chocolate ice-cream? Check it out.
Talk about good entertainment! But I am pretty sure that that fabu atmosphere is worth quite a few $ for a meal. How would that be for a first date? xD

EE-totally. :) I don't see how people could find it gross, I would leave with a grin so big I would look drugged. xD

BTW- if it was hard to tell, in the picture with the soup bowl, the bowl was a mini toilet. :D

I just looked at her blog.. definitely nothing to do with food. She has some cool stuff up: hanging out with Kelly Osbourn & Perez Hilton, playing Twister with Sean Kingston but the funniest her making pancake bikinis for National Pancake Day.
